If you're training for your first half or full marathon and are looking  to set attainable goals and need assistance and guidance, I (Miguel) can help you understand how to train and peak at the right time. 

Along with our Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday runs I will give you the tools to get better.  I have developed an 18 week program with long runs and tempo workouts to push yourself and reach your goals.  These tools can be found at Route 16, come by and pick up your 18 week program and join us Tuesday's for interval workouts, Thursdays for tempo workouts (on Cushman trail)and Saturday for long runs (summer long runs on trails in Gig Harbor/Crescent Valley trails, Point Defiance Park and McCormick trails)

I (Miguel Galeana: see About us for Bio and Pic) have been assisting, guiding, coaching and advising on running for over 10 years.  My latest service has been through Route 16 on the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday fun runs and workouts.  During this time I've been a personal coach to a few  individuals for several years now.  Helping people reach their goals is now one of my favorite things to do.  I get to see them attain goals that they only dreamed about before.  Whether it's to qualify for Boston, run under the required firefighters fitness test or just setting personal time goals.  There is no better thrill than to be part of someones achievements. For me it's all about the adventure of getting there the "SMART" way! Train Smarter, Run Faster!!!!
